Mar 16, 2026"Devin's Fish & Chips spot on St. Nicholas Ave has been serving the community for nearly 3 decades. I've know I've been a customer since the late 1990s. Devin's was very popular when they first opened because they had a steamer. Steamed snow crab⁰ legs and okra were my favorites with pink lemonade. Also, the grilled salmon steaks with steamed okra & fresh cut fries with the skin on it. Still a family bznz and a staple in Hamilton Heights,Harlem! It's a small world indeed. I found out over 2 decades ago, we attended junior high school with the siblings back in the 1970s. I recognized one of the sisters and asked if she had a brother, Willie. She said, "Yes, I do. " We chatted for a while.. I'm happy that they chose to stay in bznz despite the changes & gentrification thisv neighborhood has endured over the decades. Congratulations fam@"
